U20 European Championships 2011
How do the 2nd and 3rd placed teams from previous two championships get drawn in the same group?

Besides the obvious one for me the most interesting team is Ukraine with Iagupova and Malashenko.
Outside of semis and finals there's no chance of this being televised so live stats is the only way to go.

No real surprises so far. We've got a couple of posts but no guards who can make an outside shot so came the winless start to the tournament. Unless a huge upset France, Russia and Spain should be back in the semis.

Big win today for Poles, Ziętara vs. Krnjic and that tying buzzer really nice
Kind of lucky though looking at shaq-a-like FT Serbia numbers Seems like home walls don't help always.

Phew, we've fended off relegation, now I won't care about L's anymore. Without PG's and with the best player joining the team at the airport before going to the tournament there's no realistic hopes of repeating previous year success.

Spain rolling through the tournament. They don't even need any player to step up - they have 9 players who average around 20 minutes per game.

Good to see another big win yesterday, trailing by 15 mid-third and still getting a win. One more and we're in QF

And even bigger win yesterday - beating Russia isn't easy, great job! QF taken, it's looking really really good.

Oh, the youth basketball - it's a time when kids haven't picked up flopping and embellishing skills.
Of course soon they'll get to play and practice with pros who'll corrupt their young minds...

Don't think Slovenia has a U20 team. And she was preparing with the U19 team for the World Championships.
